Each May and June, the Wiener Festwochen offer stage highlights for theater greenhorns as well as dyed-in-the-wool enthusiasts.

This year, the Wiener Festwochen are headed by Artistic Director Markus Hinterhäuser and Performing Arts Director Stefan Schmidtke. Enjoy a multi-faceted and varied programme consisting of 39 productions from 20 countries. Each year in summertime, the Donauinsel – Vienna’s city beach on an 21 km long island in river Danube – is transformed into Europe’s biggest open air festival. This year big names as Anastacia, Nazar, Christina Stürmer, DJ Ötzi, Middle oft he Road, Nockalm Quintett, 5/8erl in Ehr’n, Opus and Minisex will rock almost 20 live stages. Expect tree days of serious party and a lot of attractions for the whole family. Entrance free to all stages and shows!
