Fashion, Art and Party in September
Autumn starts off with the MQ Vienna Fashion Week and its packed program from the 12th of September. This 8-day-event will revolve around Fashion-Shows, Side-Events and exhibitions on fashion as well as presentations of Austrian and international fashion design. Visitors will have the possibility to meet and greet a bunch of designers during their exhibitions and can also decide on buying a few items at their pop up store.
Not interested in fashion? The Circus Roncalli Anniversary Tour could be a fun alternative. The circus celebrates its 40th anniversary from September 15 to October 16 at the Viennese town hall square. Showings will be held Tuesdays to Saturdays from 3pm to 7.30pm and Sundays from 2pm to 6pm. Clowns and artists will ensure a great and entertaining time for you to forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Party animals and beer tent lovers will appreciate the Wiener Wiesn-Fest taking place from the 22nd of September to the 9th of October on the Riesenradplatz at the Wiener Prater. Guests can enjoy Austrian traditions, craft and hearty delicacies beside an amazing party atmosphere. A varied music program provides traditional folk music as well as modern interprets in this genre. Free admission is granted from 11.30am to 6pm!
Art and Design marks Autumn in Vienna
Vienna Design Week transforms Austria’s capital into an art arena. Its 10-year-anniversary celebration illustrates the importance of design regarding our lifestyle and material culture. Last year’s number of visitors hit almost 37.000 people – don’t miss it and get inspired!
