Surrounded by lush green meadows and sunshine, May invites you to relax and unwind. We gathered the culinary highlights in May for you.

A must for all those who are looking for an exquisite culinary experience. For the tenth time already visitors have the opportunity to enjoy specialties and delicacies from different regions of Austria in the Viennese Stadtpark, at the largest gourmet-event in the country.

Genuss-Festival

With 150,000 visitors last year, the Genuss-Festival has already successfully established itself and is being held by the Austrian Culinary Heritage Council and the City of Vienna during the weekend of Mother’s Day. This year, from May, 12th to 14th, you have the opportunity to try and enjoy some of the finest Austrian specialties out in the open air right in the heart of Vienna. With more than 190 stalls, the best producers and top culinary craftsmen offer noble culinary delights for gourmets. These can be enjoyed right on the spot with the appropriate drink, such as sparkling wine, wine or beer. Especially for families, the children’s adventure zone and Railaxed-Zone are ideal for picnicking and relaxing, while in the Ursprungszelt the popular live cooking demonstration will take place. Admission is free.

Here you can find the visitor plan for this year.
